We are located just outside
of South Bloomingville, Ohio
Choose your approach from the
directions found below this section. Once you are in South Bloomingville you will
see that the only commercial buildings are a small gas station and
a country store called Seymours (both of which are currently closed), which are easy to spot at the corner of S.R. 56 & S.R. 664.
From there you will:
Turn onto Goose Creek
Road (it's across from Seymours' parking lot and only turns one way).
On Goose Creek Road
proceed 1.5 miles to Brown Road (the first road you come to, and it's on
the left).
Take Brown Road, which goes up hill, .7 miles to your cottage, which is
on the left. The street address is 24216 Brown Road, and there is
a sign with the address and name
Honey Ridge.
Please note that some of the local roads have no street signs, are
not in good shape, or are closed (although a map may show them). We suggest you follow our instructions to
get here, and then you can go for a back road adventure later.
In addition, Brown Rd. is rather steep, & some cars which are low on
gasoline have been known to stall going up the hill (our's included!).
Two of our guests have informed us that MapQuest gave
them wrong directions for getting here.

From Columbus
Take S.R. 23 South from Columbus to
Circleville.
At
Circleville you will exit onto S.R. 56 East. Drive through
Circleville, and continue to Laurelville. Stay on S.R. 56 East,
and once through Laurelville you will drive approximately 10 miles to S.
Bloomingville.
In S. Bloomingville you
will come to a stop sign, where you will be facing a gas station and
small country store called Seymours to your right. Turn right
which will keep you on S.R. 56, and then follow directions above.
From Toledo
From Toledo take I-75
South to U.S. 23 South and proceed to Columbus.
Take I-270 East around Columbus and exit onto U.S. 23 South (it's easier
than going through Columbus)
Take U.S. 23 South to Circleville.
At Circleville you will
exit onto S.R. 56 East. Drive through Circleville, and continue to
Laurelville. Stay on S.R. 56 East, and once through Laurelville
you will drive approximately 10 miles to S. Bloomingville.
In S. Bloomingville you
will come to a stop sign, where you will be facing a gas station and
small country store called Seymours to your right. Turn right
which will keep you on S.R. 56, and then follow directions above.
From
Cincinnati
Take
I-71 North to U.S. 35 East to Chillicothe and exit onto Bridge Street
(S.R. 159).
Turn
left onto S.R. 159 and go past Adena Hospital to S.R. 180, and turn
right.
Take S.R. 180 to SR. 56 East and turn right, just outside of
Laurelville.
Take S.R. 56 East through
Laurelville and then approximately 10 miles to S. Bloomingville.
In S. Bloomingville you
will come to a stop sign, where you will be facing a gas station and
small country store called Seymours to your right. Turn right
which will keep you on S.R. 56, and then follow directions above.
From
Cleveland
Take I-71
South to Columbus.
Take I-270 East around Columbus and exit onto U.S. 23 South (it's easier
