We were excited to find your description of your cottage on the internet to be more than accurate! Sitting on the deck overlooking the woods was priceless. The cottage is gorgeous! We are so excited to have been the first pet owners to rent. Our German Shepherd, Alex, loved it as much as we did. Dear Diary, what a wonderful day it's been! How quiet is quiet? 7 deer and 2 turkeys walking in front of the deck at 5:00 a.m. and you hear them before you see them. 6:15 p.m. 4 more deer moving downhill... you hear nothing but the wind and birds and our new friends, the goats and chickens - the absolute quiet is amazing. Beth is an absolute treasure as far as the area is concerned. This place cannot be beaten no matter where you go if you want peace and quite. Lois and Ernie 7-1-07 |

As always, we had a wonderful time here at Honey Ridge. When Jake and I had to think of a place to take our short honeymoon, we knew just where to go. Our fourth time here (and our first as husband and wife) was just as wonderful as it was three years ago! Thank you so much for the hospitality and we will see you next year! I called around to a couple of
cabins, but when I spoke with Chuck on the phone, I was so comfortable,
we booked the weekend without seeing the cabin on the website. The
cabin was perfect! Just what we had envisioned... a peaceful
setting in the woods... we loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi.
It is really thoughtful of you to have the extra things in the kitchen

We are really glad we chose your cabin for a vacation. It is fantastic, very beautiful inside and the deck is very peaceful with a wonderful view. Another heartfelt "thank you" for your kindness and hospitality [they've been here several times]. My "first timers" loved it here. Emily (9) says "ooh, this is so sweet!" That was day one - now she asks "can't we stay here a whole week?" Ken, our dear son, appreciated your handiwork, Chuck. ... My oldest son, my wife and I are so glad that we took the winding road to this lovely cabin. It was hard to decide if to stay in this warm, peaceful place or explore the caves & footpaths. In the midst of having a marvelous time. Arrived early
yesterday... We were simply stunned by how wonderful the cottage is.
Everything is excellent, & I'm already feeling rejuvenated from life in
the city... went for a hike at Old Man's Cave... took in Rock
House (also awesome); also went into Nelsonville for Parade of the
Hills; Coffee Cup is good place to eat... Best decision I've made
in a long time? To find out from Beth and Chuck if we're able to
stay an extra night. Best sounds in the world? The voices of
your wife and child, a gentle breeze in the tree tops... So pleased to
be staying an extra night. This place is so good for the soul.
Natalie enjoys the dogs and turning on the porch lights; Tricia's
getting a lot of knitting done; I like reading on the deck . We
all like the peace and quiet..... The stars at night are a must-see!
It's been years since I've seen the Milky Way.... Thanks for a great time! We
feel as if we've discovered a great secret, and the time I've spent with
Tricia and Natalie here is invaluable. We hope to make this our
regular family getaway. Beth and Chuck - you guys are awesome!

Dear Beth & Chuck, Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your cottage. The cottage is so beautiful and so clean. The location is great. We had a wonderful time hiking to the falls and Old Man's Cave. After 7 miles of hiking it was very nice to come back to this cottage and relax in a warm and cozy place.
