Active Military R&R

Active members of the armed services will receive a 10% discount off their nightly rate. Show your military I.D. when you check in.

Our "Welcome Back!" discount for returning guests gives you a 5% discount.

Policies

​~ Maximum Occupancy for the cabin is 6 people

~ Visitors - are not permitted on the property unless Guest has received prior approval from us.  

~ Minimum Stay -  we do require at least a two night minimum stay, no exceptions, and 

~ Holidays -   Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend require a three night minimum stay

~ Weekend - Thursday/Friday, Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday combinations are priced at weekend rates

~ Weeknights - Sunday through Thursday are priced at weeknight rates (except Sunday is a weekend when it is part of a Saturday/Sunday 2 night stay; Thursday is a weekend when it is part of a Thursday/Friday 2 night stay)

~ Weekly Rental - 7 nights

~  Advance deposit -  If your reservation is made more than two weeks prior to your arrival date, then 50% of the total rental fee, secured with a credit card, is required to secure your reservation.   The balance is due two weeks prior to your reservation.  If your reservation is made less than two weeks prior to your arrival date, the full amount is required to secure your reservation. We will also provide a rental agreement which must be signed by the person providing the credit card, who becomes the Lessee.

~ Check-in  is anytime after 4:00 p.m. andCheck-out is 11:00 a.m.

~ Weather  - We strongly recommend the use of a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the winter in the Hocking Hills area.  

​​~ Insects - You are renting heavily wooded property in the country.  Insects live here.  There will be insects outside the cabin and occasionally some get inside.  Chemical treatment helps, but does not guarantee that the cabin will be 100% insect free.  Check your clothing and limit the time you leave the door open to help prevent bringing insects inside.

~ Credit Cards - Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard are accepted

~ Restrictions -  Smoking is allowed on the deck; no smoking inside the cabin, & no smoking on the grounds as the woodland setting poses a fire hazard;  use of fire ring may be restricted during dry forest conditions; guests may not have visitors at the cabin; ATV's can be parked here on trailers but not ridden; no hunting, loaded weapons, illegal drugs, or loud parties. 

~ Pet friendly - We are happy to have your feline or canine family members stay with us.  For our pet policies, go to The Pet Page.

~ Cancellations:  Our refund policy - 

• More than 14 days notice given - refund of your deposit less a $50 processing fee
  

• 14-7 days notice given - 50% refund of your deposit  except*
  

• Less than 7 days notice given - no refund  except*
  

• Cancellation due to bad weather, no refund  except*
  
• *If we are able to re-rent the dates you have cancelled, we will provide you with a full refund less a $50 processing fee
  

• No refund for early departure, or for no-show
